What are the structures of the energy storage system of solar garden lights

Update:22 Jan
The energy storage system of a solar garden light is one of its key components, responsible for storing solar energy collected through solar panels during the day and supplying electrical energy at night or under low light conditions to ensure the normal operation of the lamp.
Energy Storage Technology: Energy storage systems often use advanced lithium-ion battery technology. Lithium-ion batteries have the advantages of high energy density, lightweight, and long life, making them the most common and reliable energy storage solution for solar garden lights. This battery technology not only provides stable power output, but also has a low self-discharge rate, effectively extending the life of the entire system.
Battery Management System (BMS): To ensure the safety and stability of the battery pack, the energy storage system of the solar garden light is equipped with a battery management system (BMS). BMS is responsible for monitoring and managing the voltage, temperature and charge and discharge status of each battery cell to prevent overcharge, over-discharge, over-temperature and other problems. Through precise battery management, battery pack performance and life can be maximized.
Charge Controller: The charge controller is another important component of the energy storage system and is responsible for managing the process of delivering energy from the solar panels to the battery pack. This includes real-time monitoring of light intensity and precise control of battery charging current and voltage. Through reasonable charging control, the energy storage system can fully accumulate solar energy in a short period of time to supply night lighting needs.
Battery protection: In order to prevent the battery from being damaged in extreme environments or abnormal working conditions, the energy storage system is also equipped with battery protection functions. This may include multiple protection mechanisms such as over-current protection, over-temperature protection, short-circuit protection, etc. to ensure the safe operation of the battery pack.
Energy Management System (EMS): Some advanced solar garden lights may also be equipped with an energy management system that optimizes energy utilization efficiency through intelligent algorithms and data analysis. This includes predicting weather conditions, adjusting charging and discharging strategies, and optimizing lighting patterns to maximize overall system performance.
